Our Place
Property and Surrounding Area
RoVer’s Roost sits on 10 acres of flat desert land about eight miles west of Casa Grande. We are centrally located between Phoenix, Tucson, and Yuma. RoVer’s Roost was founded in 1981 as an Escapees RV Club Co-Op and continues as such to this day. We are a 55+ private membership co-op park and children can visit the park for up to fourteen days per year.
RoVer’s Roost has 120 sites. Each site offers full hookups with 30/50 amp electricity. Each lot is 35 feet by 55 feet. Due to narrow roads and lot size, we are unable to accommodate RVs longer than 40 feet in the park. There are limited sites for 40 foot rigs. Mail delivery is accepted for registered guests, renters and leaseholders only.
See Contact Us for maps and directions. All amenities are for the pleasure of leaseholders, renters and registered guests only.
Clubhouse
The clubhouse is the main focal point of RoVer’s Roost. It is in use from morning to night. The clubhouse contains the following rooms/areas:
Activity and Meeting Hall – This large hall is used for dinners, meetings and other activities such as games, puzzles, cards, crafts and much more. We also have AudioFetch! for the hearing impaired.
Library – The library is stocked with over 2,000 paperback books and hundreds of DVDs.
Pool Table Area – We have two full-size professional pool tables.
Mail Room – Residents can have their mail delivered to RoVer’s Roost.
NOTE: you must be registered in the park when your mail arrives, as mail addressed to non-registered persons will be returned to sender. Our hard working volunteers sort the mail and place them in alphabetized compartments for pickup by our registered leaseholders and renters.
Coffee Hour Area – A small area by the mail room is home for the morning coffee drinkers. Get there early enough and there might even be a left-over donut. Coffee is usually ready by 7am and done by 9 am.
Restrooms – Restrooms are cleaned daily and each includes a coin-operated shower.
Puzzle Area – One table is dedicated to puzzles. Perfect for large puzzles that take days to complete.
Bargain Table – Residents put cherished and not-so-cherished items on this table. All items can be purchased for a donation which goes towards social activities in the park.
Laundry – RoVer’s Roost laundry has six coin-operated washers and eight coin-operated dryers. There is also an iron and ironing board. You can get change at the office.
Kitchen – We have a well appointed kitchen for community events.
Office – Our managers use the office to register guests and do bookkeeping. There is a shredder and copier available for guest use.
Propane
RoVer’s Roost dispenses propane to leaseholders and registered guests of our park. We offer pickup and delivery at your lot for portable tanks up to 40 pounds (9 gallons). We also fill built-in tanks at our street side filling station.
Work Shop
RoVer’s Roost provides a small shop next to the clubhouse where residents can work on projects. There is a workbench with a vice. Tools include a table saw, drill press, table router, grinder and an air compressor.
