Caywood Farms Tour
Caywood Farms is a fourth-generation, family-operated farming business.  In addition to the production of cotton and forage crops, our family also runs cotton farm tours on a seasonal basis. Curious about cotton? We can answer your questions! On our farm tours, you not only learn, but have fun at the same time.

Queen Creek Olive Mill
The Queen Creek Olive Mill is a family owned company that grows and presses olives for the production of high quality extra virgin olive oil from our farm to your table. Our farming practices and the products we offer exemplify our dedication to the environment and the health of our customers. 

The Windmill Winery
Beautiful grounds, a tasting room, and many wines to sample; a great way to spend an afternoon. Also holds events such as “Woof, Wag, and Wine” (pet day) and “Paint and Pour” (art class).

Boyce Thompson Arboretum
Experience Arizona’s oldest botanical garden. The Arboretum brings together plants from the planet’s many varied deserts and dry lands displaying them alongside unspoiled examples of the native Sonoran Desert vegetation.

Dwarf Car Museum
Ernie Adams, originator of the dwarf car, has made a name for himself building Dwarf Race Cars and scaled down replicas of classic cars called Dwarf Car Cruisers. These handmade works of art now have a home in Maricopa, Arizona.

Coolidge Museums
At the Artisan Village of Coolidge are the Pinal Geology and Mineral Museum and the Copper State Heritage Museum. A great way to spend the afternoon! The Artisan Village also offers workshops and classes such as glass blowing, metal welding, painting, and more.

Arizona Railway Museum
The Arizona Railway Museum is dedicated to the railways of Arizona and the Southwest. 

Huhugam Heritage Center
This modern cultural center highlights the ancestral, historic and current cultures of the Gila River Indian Community, made up of two tribes – the Akimel O’otham and the Pee Posh .

St. Anthony’s Greek Orthodox Monastery
A working, Greek Orthodox Monastery with gardens, orchards, a gift shop, a bookstore, many chapels, and houses. An excellent write up can be found here.

McFarland State Historical Park
Learn about Arizona’s first state historic park when you visit the McFarland courthouse in the town of Florence. Take the Florence history tour and learn more about life on the frontier at the turn of the century.

Casa Grande Ruins
Explore the mystery and complexity of an extended network of communities and irrigation canals. An Ancient Sonoran Desert People’s farming community and “Great House” are preserved at Casa Grande Ruins National Monument.

Sonoran Desert National Monument
The Monument contains magnificent examples of untrammeled Sonoran Desert landscape. It is the most biologically diverse of the North American deserts, and the monument captures a significant portion of that diversity.  Within the monument is the extensive saguaro cactus forest,  three distinct mountain ranges, three Congressionally designated wilderness areas and many significant archaeological and historic sites, and remnants of several important historic trails.

Picacho Peak State Park
The park and surrounding area are known for its unique geological significance, outstanding and varied desert growth, and historical importance. The park offers a visitor center, a playground, historical markers, a campground and picnic areas. Many hiking trails traverse the desert landscape and offer hikers both scenic and challenging hikes.

San Tan Mountain Regional Park
San Tan Mountain Regional Park is a large rural/suburban park located in Pinal County. Although the park is administered by Maricopa County Parks, it is located within Pinal County. It encompasses over 10,000 acres and preserves a portion of the San Tan Mountains, south of Queen Creek.
