RoVer's Roost RV Retreat is a 55+ private membership co-op in Casa Grande, Arizona — midway between Phoenix and Tucson. We're part of the Escapees Co-op network, which means we follow the time-honored motto of "Caring & Sharing" first established by Kay and Joe Peterson.
Our community is built by residents, for residents. There are no corporate owners and no distant management — just neighbors who pitch in, take ownership, and look out for each other. If you've ever dreamed of an RV community that actually feels like a community, you've found it.
Governance here is hands-on. Members elect leadership, serve on committees, and shape the policies, events, and improvements that move the park forward. Your voice — and your volunteer time — really does set the tone.
Resident-Led Decisions
Members vote, serve, and steer the co-op. Big choices and small ones happen in the open, with input from the people who live here.
Volunteer Power
17 active committees keep RoVer's Roost humming. Whatever you love — gardens, games, greeting newcomers, fixing things — there's a role waiting for you.
Shared Stewardship
We maintain the park together, and the results show. Clean facilities, cared-for grounds, and the kind of pride that only comes from ownership.
RoVer's Roost is open to 55+ RV enthusiasts who share our cooperative values. New members are warmly welcomed. Neighbors and the office team will help you find your footing fast.

"When Ralph and I came to the park as renters, I was blown away by everyone's friendliness — the camaraderie, Kay and Joe Peterson's motto of caring and sharing, and the food!" — Angela Klinger, resident
Ask any resident and you'll hear something similar. The talents people bring — and the friendships they form — are why so many short stays turn into long ones.
RoVer's Roost sits in Casa Grande, in the wide, peaceful farming desert between Phoenix (about an hour north) and Tucson (about an hour south). You get small-town pace, big-sky sunsets, and easy access to two metro areas full of nature, arts, heritage, sports, and science.
Bring your rig — and your talents
If you value volunteering, friendship, and a community that runs on showing up for one another, you'll feel at home at the Roost.
