How do I make a reservation?
The best way is to book online through CampSpot — you can see availability and reserve in a few clicks. Otherwise, please feel free to call the office at (520) 426-3589, email [email protected], or use our contact form. We'll confirm availability and walk you through next steps.
What's the special offer for first-time Escapees visitors?
First-time Escapees visitors stay 3 free nights when registering for a week with full hookups — 10 nights for the price of 7. Electric and tax extra. Mention this offer when you book.
Do you offer refunds?
Per park policy, no refunds are offered. Please confirm your travel plans before booking, and reach out to the office if your circumstances change — we'll help where we can.
Is there a dump station? Is it included?
Yes — we have an on-site dump station. Dump and water are included with dry-camping stays. Full-hookup sites already include sewer at the site itself.
If you're not staying with us but use the dump station, please leave a donation in the drop box at the dump station. Every contribution helps us keep the park well maintained.
What's the maximum rig size?
We welcome RVs up to 40 feet at our full-hookup sites and boondocking sites. If you have a fifth wheel, motorhome, or trailer near that limit, give us a call and we'll help you confirm a good fit.
What's the dry-camping policy?
We have 14 dry-camping sites with a 7-night maximum stay (more with manager approval).. Dump and water are included.
Park Life
Are pets welcome?
Yes — well-behaved pets are welcome. We have a roomy pet walk area on flat desert terrain, and most pets here become beloved neighborhood characters within a week or two. Please keep dogs leashed in common areas and clean up after them.
Are guests allowed to visit?
Absolutely — guests are part of park life. Please ask the office about current guest policies and any applicable fees so we can keep everyone comfortable and safe.
What's the activity calendar like?
It's busiest during the winter season, when most events ramp up. Expect a regular mix of trivia, Bingo, Mahjong, Texas Hold'em, painting, chair exercise, movie nights, open mic, and more. Check the monthly calendar when you arrive or ask any neighbor — they'll point you to whatever's happening that day.
How does volunteering work?
Volunteering is what makes the Roost the Roost — and we love when members share their talents. Most people find one or two committees that suit them naturally. There are 17 standing committees in all, so something will fit. The more hands pitching in, the more we all enjoy.
Are accommodations for hearing needs?
Our clubhouse is equipped with AudioFetch, which streams audio from in-room TVs and PA systems to hearing devices.
Are there laundry facilities?
Yes — a large coin-operated laundry facility is on site, with restrooms and showers cleaned daily.
Utilities & Services
How much is propane?
Propane price is subject to change depending on fuel prices but is usually less expensive than other places in Casa Grande. We offer in-park propane sales, a dedicated propane station for motorhomes, and pickup & delivery for portable tanks up to 40 lb (9 gal).
How is electricity charged?
Electricity is subject to change depending on the utility company. Daily stays include electricity at the going rate. Weekly and monthly stays are billed for electricity separately.
Is WiFi available?
Yes — free WiFi is is available throughout the clubhouse for residents and guests. It is not available outside of the clubhouse, in the park.
Membership
What's the age requirement?
You must be 55 or older and approved for residency in the co-op.
Is Escapees RV Club membership required?
Yes. RoVer's Roost is part of the Escapees Co-op network, so a current Escapees RV Club membership is required to join our co-op. If you're not yet a member, you can sign up at escapees.com before applying. The office team is happy to walk you through the process.
Where can I read the bylaws and rules?
You can download both as PDFs: Read Our Bylaws (PDF) and RoVer's Roost Rules (PDF). We recommend reviewing them before applying for membership.
What is a leasehold and how much does it cost?
A leasehold gives you long-term, ownership-style access to a specific lot. Leasehold lots start at $8,500 — often less than two years of seasonal rent at comparable parks.
Once you've secured your lot, you pay an annual Maintenance & Operations (M&O) fee that runs around $1,200 — that's less than $108 a month. Volunteering and supporting the co-op is what keeps this fee so low — every hand that pitches in helps. Learn more on the Membership page.
How does the Escapees Co-op model work?
The park is owned and run by its members. We elect leadership, serve on committees, and shape the community we live in — all guided by the "Caring & Sharing" tradition started by Kay and Joe Peterson. More on the About page.
Our office team is friendly, knowledgeable, and happy to help.
